EL CENTRO has been successful in the fight for immigrant rights and labor justice in Albuquerque. Our work gives a voice to hundreds of low-income immigrant workers in Albuquerque, supports community growth, and leads to victories in public policy. EL CENTRO uses a variety of strategies to drive social change, including community organizing, leadership development, advocacy for pro-immigrant policies, strategic communications, and civic engagement—to promote the rights of the Latino immigrant community and low-income workers and families in Albuquerque.
